Vigilante Days 2008, August 8th - 10th

year's Vigilante Days Chairman will be Kent Cooksley, Assistant Chief.

The Tombstone Vigilantes, will celebrate their 54th year of service to Tombstone, Cochise County and our great state of Arizona. This year, folks will come from all over Arizona to help us out.
We start things off Friday morning at 10:00AM with the National Anthem and have continuous street entertainment until 4:00PM.
On Saturday, the chili cook-off begins at 8:00AM with the cooks setting up. Chili cups will go on sale at 1:00PM and when they are sold out, OH WELL! If you don't get there early, you will miss out on some really good chili. There will be plenty of street entertainment from 10:00AM until 4:00PM again on Saturday.
Sunday at 6:30:AM we hold our 22nd annual 10K Run. Results for the top winners in every age group. All times will be posted within two weeks after the run. There will be plenty of street entertainment from 10:00AM until 4:00PM again on Sunday.
Some of the participants scheduled this year include: The Daughters of Fatima, The Tombstone Territorial Actors, Gail Martin, Ron Hale our Singing Vigilante, and The Yuma Vigilantes. While you are here I hope you take in all Tombstone has to offer. We hope to see you Vigilante Days 2008, August 8-10, 2008
Once again, The Tombstone Vigilantes will raffle off a .45 caliber lever action rifle that is the 23nd in a series to be raffled off. Good Luck, and hope you are the lucky winner.
